MYCO SANCTUM • PREPARATION GUIDE 05

Preparation Without Promises

Questions, boundaries and logistics—without a dosing protocol or guarantee.

WORKING EDITION • August 2026
READER NOTE

This guide is educational and does not provide dosing instructions, diagnose or treat a condition, replace licensed care, or recommend illegal activity. Laws and evidence change.

01

Preparation is not prediction

Preparation can improve clarity and surface preventable problems. It cannot guarantee safety, insight, healing or a particular experience. A promise of transformation is not informed consent.

02

Clarify the actual container

Ask what is happening, who is responsible, what the boundaries are and what is outside scope.

  • What is the purpose and format?
  • Who is present, and what are their roles and qualifications?
  • What screening, consent and emergency plans exist?
  • How is private information handled?
  • What costs, cancellation terms and follow-up are included?
03

Readiness is not a moral grade

Readiness can change. Health history, medications, sleep, recent loss, acute stress, pregnancy, caregiving, transportation and legal exposure can affect whether participation is appropriate. Pausing is valid.

04

Consent must stay alive

Consent is specific, informed, reversible and free of coercion. It includes touch, recording, disclosure, participation and the right to stop.

A good container makes “no,” “not now” and “I need help” easy to say.
05

What this guide does not do

This resource does not provide dosing schedules, substance sourcing, medical clearance or instructions for illegal activity. Clinical or complex needs belong with appropriately licensed professionals.
